Truth or Myth? The Queen had a private toilet at Wembley Stadium
Truth
At the old Wembley Stadium (the twin towers one), the Royal Box had private rooms, including a dedicated lavatory for the monarch and senior royals. It was part of the whole “keep the Queen comfortable and away from the crowds” setup.
At the new Wembley Stadium (opened 2007), same deal in spirit: the Royal Box / Royal Suite includes private facilities, so if the monarch attends an event, she’s not queueing with 90,000 football fans 😄.
So yes—royal engagements came with royal plumbing. 👑🚽
